Laura Welch

Laura Jean Foster Welch of Uvalde passed away on November 11, 2016 at her residence at the age of 60. She was born on October 16, 1956 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Robert Harrison and Wanda Jean (Smith) Foster.
She married Fred Welch on October 27, 1981 in Houston.
She is survived by her husband of Uvalde; daughter, Jennifer Mosqueda and husband John of Uvalde; sons, Daniel Jones and wife, Amber of Lake Jackson, Freddy Welch, Jr. and wife, Wendy of Deer Park and Corey Welch of Houston; sisters, Diane Pena of Austin, Lisa Oszart and husband, John of Huffman, Luanne Nye and husband, Chris of Magnolia; brothers, Robert Foster and wife, Susan of Austin, Alan Foster and wife, Bonnie of Humble and Raymond Foster and wife, Ruth of Kingwood; 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes Knowles Mortuary on Thursday. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Vance Cemetery.
