Lazaro Placencia

Lazaro J. Placencia of Uvalde passed away on April 6, 2013 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation at the age of 72. He was born on December 19, 1940 in Uvalde, Texas to Andres and Petra Jalomo Placencia. He married Genoveva Sanchez on April 24, 1962 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 50 years daughter, Edna Reyes and husband Remijio of Uvalde, Texas sons, Richard Placencia of Uvalde, Texas and Lazaro Placencia Jr. and wife Ana of Temple, Texas sister, Natividad Corrales of Uvalde, Texas brothers, Antonio Placencia and wife Dora of Lubbock and Hector Placencia and wife Yolanda of Florida six grandchildren, Ariana Placencia, Alejandro Placencia, Aracely Placencia, Anthony Reyes, Jordon Reyes and Jonathan Placencia numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held on Sunday, April 07, 2013 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Reyes, Jonathan Placencia, Jordon Reyes, Alejandro Placencia,George Rodriguez, Tony Vasquez and Noel Sanchez
