Leon Ruiz

Leon Aguirre Ruiz of Sabinal passed away at his residence at the age of 35. He was born on December 3, 1978 in Uvalde to Antonio Ruiz Sr. and Benita Aguirre Youngs. He is survived by his parents daughter, Autumn Lyn Ruiz sons, William Edgar Ruiz all of Uvalde and Calvin A. Ruiz of Sabinal brothers, Antonio Ruiz Jr. and Michael A. Ruiz both of Uvalde and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Eddie Youngs nephews, Mark Ruiz and Michael A. Ruiz Jr. niece, Michaila Mari Ruiz maternal grandparents, Cesario and Antonia Aguirre paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Adelina Ruiz. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and a vigil on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
