Leonardo Jaso of Uvalde passed away on February 13, 2013 at North East Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 78. He was born on September 27, 1934 in Spofford, Texas to Jose and Julia Morales Jaso. He is survived by his daughters, Norma Mancha and husband Rene, Leticia Jaso and Dolores Martinez sons, Leonardo Jaso Jr. and Daniel Jaso all of Uvalde sister, Ester Ortega of Sweetwater brothers, Narciso Jaso of Carrizo Springs grandchildren, Rene Mancha Jr., Christina Rodriguez, Remedios Martinez Jr. and Tiffany Martinez and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trinidad Soliz, parents, and brothers, Jose Jaso and Rafael Jaso. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rene Manch Jr., Roger Brown, Remedios Martinez Jr., Alberto Soliz, Johnny Parttes and Eddie Cruz Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Rene Mancha Sr.
