Lester Kiesling

Lester Gayne Kiesling of Uvalde passed away on June 27, 2015 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 60. He was born on August 19, 1954 in San Angelo, TX to Leon Edwin Kiesling and Ida Krieg Kiesling. He married Elaine McLerran in Uvalde on October 26, 1991. He is survived by his wife of 23 years; two sons, Travis Kiesling and Tyler Karl Kiesling, both of Uvalde; sister, Louise Moerbe and husband, Walter of La Pryor; brother, Lynn Kiesling and wife, Jean of Eola, TX; sister- in- law, Bennie Lubke of San Angelo; two brothers-in-law, Craig McLerran of Dallas and Joe McLerran and wife, Debbie of Comfort; mother-in-law, Farrice McLerran; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Kiesling. Mr. Kiesling was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. His lifelong passion was farming and agriculture. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Don Olson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Neal Brewster, Jeffrey Grissom, Tracy Dube, Jesus Vasquez, Jeffrey Speer, and Robbie Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sean McLerran, Scott McLerran, Walter O. "Bubba" Moerbe IV, L.K. Moerbe, and Larry Dockal II.
