Leticia Lopez Garcia

Leticia Lopez Garcia, 55, of Uvalde passed away on June 8, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

She was born on July 24, 1967, in Uvalde to Rosa (Leal) and Bernandino V. (Lopez).

She married Fernando Garcia on April 14, 1983, in Uvalde. 

She is survived by her husband of 40 years of Uvalde; daughter, Valerie Garcia of Uvalde; sons, Fernando Garcia, Jr. and Juan Jose Garcia both of Uvalde; sisters, Dianna Ramon and husband, Ernesto, Belinda Arreola and husband, Jorge and Anna Lopez all of Uvalde; brother, Esteban Lopez and wife, Veronica of Uvalde; grandchildren, Jocelyn Arrellano, Krystallen Garcia, Arianna Garcia, Tristan Fernando Garcia, Juan Jose Garcia, Jr. and Jose Antonio Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her father; sister, Patricia Lopez Herrera; two aunts, Felis Banda, and Guadalupe Flores; in laws, Juan Garcia Flores and Hortencia G. Garcia; and sister in law, Hortencia Arrellano. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 3 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. at

Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. at

Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Juan Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Jr., Tristan Garcia, Jorge Arreola, Jr., Charlie Camacho, Joey Camacho, Eric Trevino, and Esteban Lopez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Adam Garcia, Jorge Arreola Sr., Ernesto Ramon, Jesse Arreola and Francisco Blanco.
