Lily Scott

Lily Ann Mitchell MeMaw Scott of Uvalde passed away on January 13, 2009 in her home surrounded by family at the age of 95. She was born on September 6, 1913 in Waelder, Texas to Jack and Ella Mitchell. She married James William Pepaw Scott on April 6, 1929. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws; Frank Scott and wife, Lucy; Joe Scott and wife, Maxine; Ray Scott and wife, Kay; daughter; Ella Ruth Brice; and daughter-in-law; Corrine Scott all of Uvalde, Texas; daughter-in-law; Genalee Scott of Austin, Texas; sister; Alice Dawson; and sister-in-law Billie Mitchel both of Uvalde, Texas; twenty-one grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; thirty-one great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her parents; Jack and Ella Mitchell, husband; James William Scott; daughter; Barbara Ann Champagne; sons; Mitchel Scott and Freddy Scott; son-in-law; Harold Brice; siblings; Bell Schaefer, Jackie Braddick, and Jenn Mitchel; great grandaughter; Shea Scott; great great grandson; Shane Brice. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery. Paul Stephens will be officiating. A special thanks to Dr. Guajardo; Dr,.
