Linda Castillo

Linda Bustamante Castillo of Uvalde passed away on June 12, 2016 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 53. She was born on September 4, 1962 in Uvalde to Domingo Bustamante and Ramona Robles Bustamante. She married Rogelio Castillo in Uvalde on August 8, 1980. She is survived by her husband of 35 years; a son, Rogelio Castillo, Jr. of Uvalde; four daughters, Christina Castillo, Leticia Castillo, Isabel Castillo, and Roxanne Castillo, all of Uvalde; six sisters, Margarita Cedillo and husband, Henry, and Dora Borrego and husband, Sam Cedillo, all of Knippa; Elena Luna and husband, Julio, and Anna Castillo and husband, Juan, all of Uvalde, and Sylvia Torres and husband, Herman, and Rosemary Bustamante and husband, Johnny, all of Batesville; six brothers, Domingo Bustamante, Jr. of Ohio; Oscar Bustamante and wife, Cecilia, Ernesto Bustamante and wife, Rosemary, Raul Bustamante and wife, Geneva, and Robert Bustamante, all of Uvalde; and Ricardo Bustamante and wife, Belia of Batesville; 22 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Emilio Bustamante and Mario Bustamente. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
