Linda Garcia

Linda M. Garcia of Batesville passed away on September 21, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 78. She was born on October 8, 1932 in Uvalde, Texas to Felix and Juanita Hailes Mireles. She married Esequiel G. Garcia on April 27, 1947 in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by two daughters Elsa G. Luna and husband Roy of Batesville, Texas and Elda M. Garcia of Batesville, Texas three sons Ernest J. Garcia of Batesville, Texas Eddie M. Garcia and wife Rosa Elva of Pflugerville, Texas and Eloy M. Garcia and wife Roxanna of Eagle Pass, Texas, sisters Sulema Torres and husband Alejandro and Piedad Salazar both of San Antonio, Texas brother Mike Mireles and wife Tare of Cedar Park, Texas six grandchildren Veronica S. Garcia, Timothy G. Luna, Matthew G. Luna, Jacob A. Garcia, Andres G. Molina and Noah G. Molina sisterinlaws Elva Ibarra, Edna Hernandez, Minerva Torres and Virginia Mireles brothersinlaw, Willie Garcia Sr.and Pedro Flores and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Esequiel G. Garcia, parents, four sisters Elvira Mireles, Consuelo Ruiz, Florinda Flores and Elisa Padilla, two brothers David Mireles and Samuel Mireles. A rosary will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Batesville, Texas. Pallbearers will be Willie Garcia Jr., Freddy Mireles, George Padilla, Roland Romo, Joe Ibarra Jr. and Mark Wayne Mireles. Honorary Pallbearers are the grandchildren.
