Lorene Hunter

Lorene Thelma Hunter of Uvalde passed away on January 12, 2009 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 92. She was born on December 19, 1916 in Ft. Worth, TX to William Turner and Mamie Anderson Morgan. She married William Clyde Hunter in Laredo, TX in 1936. He preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hensarling and husband, James of Uvalde; son, Bob Hunter and wife, Allene of La Pryor; sister, Virginia Ballard of Uvalde; ten grandchildren, Desiree Schorp; Deanna Hill; Kathy Ward; Melody Langston; Steve Kral; Curtis Kral; Tina Morelli; Kim Dawson; Merrily McInnis; and Shane Hunter; 22 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Betty Kral. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:00 AM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate.
