Lori Anne Severtson of Uvalde passed away on March 16, 2016 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 55. She was born on November 15, 1960 in Hudson, New York to Donald Eugene and Margaret Jane (Miles) Wilson. She married Daniel Severtson in San Antonio on June 11, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 4 years of Uvalde; daughter, Meaghan Payuk of New Braunfels; sons, Collin Caldwell, Casey Caldwell both of Uvalde and Matthew Hughes of New Braunfels; brothers, Neal Wilson of Siren, Wisconsin and James Wilson of Spring Park, Minnesota; grandchildren, Wyatt Hughes, Owen Hughes and Hannah Hughes all of New Braunfels. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lori was crowned Mrs. Alaska International in 1993 and Mrs. Texas International in 1997. She was well traveled and visited over 16 different countries and numerous states; calling home to unique cities such as Fairbank, Alaska, Wuerzburg, Germany, and Honolulu Hawaii. She owned and operated Cupcake Obsession in San Antonio and Lala's Soapworks in Uvalde. She could always be counted on by family and friends to give positive advice and guidance. Her warm smile and caring heart will be greatly missed by all she touched.
In honor of Lori Anne a open house will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at her residence, 920 Patricia Place in Uvalde. In lieu of flowers or gifts please make a monetary donation to the Uvalde Humane Society in her name.
