Lucia Rios

Lucia Vallejo Rios, 82, of La Pryor, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in San Antonio. Mrs. Rios was born on October 8, 1935 in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico to Romaldo and Maria De La Luz (Casillas) Vallejo. She married Elias Rios in 1963 in Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico. Mrs. Rios is survived by her husband of 54 years; daughter, Maria de la Luz Victorino and husband Guillermo Gomez of La Pryor; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Rios, parents, four sisters, Juanita Martinez, Josefina Sanchez, Maria Lorta and Socorro Celedon; two brothers, Jesus Rios and Natividad Vallejo.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 14, and Sunday, October 15 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor with interment to follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Guillermo Gomez, Gustavo Mirelez Jr., Elias Rios, Jose Rios, Ricardo Victorino Jr., Jose Castillo Jr. and Martin Aaron Rios.
