Luis Villarreal

Luis P. Villarreal of Batesville passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in San Antonio at the age of 52. Mr. Villarreal was born on December 1, 1962 in Uvalde to Jose and Juanita (Padilla) Villarreal. He married Ernestina Santos on August 17, 1991 in Batesville. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ernestina S. Villarreal of Batesville; father, Jose Villarreal of Batesville; daughter, Claudia Villarreal of Batesville; four sons, Luis Villarreal Jr; Joe Michael Villarreal and wife Monica of Andrews; Jose Luis Villarreal and Linette of Batesville; Ervey Villarreal of Batesville; six sisters, Mikie Villarreal; Eloisa V. Garza and husband Felix; Dora Elia Delgado and companion Alonzo ; Guera Villarreal; Lally Villarreal and companion Jesse Martinez all of Batesville; BeeDee Luna and husband Gilbert of Andrews; four brothers, Richard Villarreal and wife Petra; Jose Villarreal, Jr and wife Yolanda; Hector Villarreal and wife Mercedes and Joey Daniel Rios all of Batesville; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Villarreal. A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow at Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Villarreal Jr, Joe Michael Villarreal, Jose Luis Villarreal, Ervey Villarreal, Jose "Joey" Villarreal III, Hector Villarreal Jr, Felix Garza III, and David Villarreal. Honorary Pallbearers are Jasper Luna, Eleazar Luna, Austin Luna, Raul Bueno Jr, Rigoberto Bueno, Richard Villarreal Jr, Jeremy Lopez, Jo Jo Villarreal, Jose Alejandro Delgadillo, Rene Sebastian Delgadillo and Enrique Delgado.
