Lupe Aviles

Maria Guadalupe Aviles of Uvalde passed away on December 22, 2017 in Uvalde at the age of 85. She was born on October 7, 1932 in Uvalde to Alejandro Flores and Teresa Gomez Flores. She is survived by her husband, Silvestre Aviles of Uvalde; three daughters, Terry Ortiz and husband, Marcos of Camp Wood; Sylvia Aviles of Uvalde; and Rosie Gonzalez and husband, Adrian of Uvalde; two sons, Jesse Aviles and wife, Christy Ramos and Jimmy Aviles, all of Uvalde; brother, Cypriano Galindo of Uvalde; sister, Susie Robles of Uvalde; and 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Santiago Flores; and grandson, Marcos Ortiz. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adrian Gonzalez, Jr.; J. R. Vera; Angel Gonzalez; Andrew Gonzalez; Jimmy Aviles, Jr.; Adriel Gonzalez; and Ignacio Coronado.
