Lupe Lopez

Ms. Lupe G. Lopez of Concan passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Uvalde at the age of 73. Ms. Lopez was born on October 20, 1942 in Sabinal to Andrea (Gomez) and Arcario Gomez. She married Isabel C. Lopez on March 31, 1960 in Sabinal. Ms. Lopez is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Lisa" Ruiz and husband Ricky, Jr. of Uvalde; two sons, Armando Lopez and wife Belinda of San Antonio and Joe Lopez and wife Rita of Sabinal; three sisters, Camelia Espinoza and husband Enrique of Temple, Janie Lopez and husband Fred of San Antonio and Andrea Sanchez and partner Ted De Leon of Uvalde; four brothers, Tomas Gomez of Wisconsin, Moses Gomez and wife Janie of San Antonio, Arcario Gomez, Jr. and wife Wanda of Wisconsin and Mario Gomez and wife Anna of Sabinal; six grandchildren Elma Ruiz, Ricky Ruiz III, Adam Lopez, Kaitlin Lopez, Aaron Lopez and Sergio Valdez; two great grandchildren Noah Anthony Gonzales and Lillian Valdez; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 20, Monday March 21 and Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 3:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal with interment to follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Ruiz, Jr. Ricky Ruiz III, Adam Lopez, Sergio Lopez, Aaron Lopez and Joe Rene Lopez.
