Manuel Guerra

Mr. Manuel Guerra of Uvalde passed away March 18, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 93.

He was born June 15, 1913 in San Benito, Texas to Victor and Eulojia Guerra.

He is survived by his wife, Felicita Guerra of Uvalde; daughters, Christi Guerra and Mary Hill, both of Uvalde; Arminda Garcia of Austin; Guadalupe Amador of Arlington; San Juana Pacheco of San Antonio; Frances Ortiz husband, Antonio of Saginaw, Tx.; sons, Victor Jaime Guerra of Uvalde; Manuel Guerra, Jr. of Arlington; George Guerra of Austin; Adam Guerra of Dallas; Three sisters; 37 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Pallbearers will be Victor Guerra, Jr.; Eddie Hill; Tony Ortiz; Bobby Hill; Raymond Guerra; George Guerra, Jr.; Adam Guerra, Jr. Enrique Pacheco, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are John Hill Ruben Garcia.

A prayer service will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 11:00 am at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Interment will follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Bro. Jesus Cardona will officiate.
