Manuel Luna

Manuel C. Manny Luna Jr. of Uvalde passed away on January 22, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 18. He was born in Uvalde on September 22, 1991 in Uvalde to Manuel G. and Norma Castro Luna. He is survived by his parents, Manuel and Norma Luna of Uvalde Paternal grandparents, Manuel and Guadalupe Luna Jr. of Uvalde maternal grandparents, Samuel and Enriqueta Castro Sr. of Uvalde sister, Callie Noel Luna of Uvalde aunts and uncles, Ricardo and Yvette Luna, Miguel and Melissa Lopez, Elida Luna, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel C. Castro Jr., Billy and Lorena Gonzales, Ramon and Laura Galvan and Gracie Castro numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Manuel and Elida Luna Sr. and Eustorgio and Guadalupe Farias, maternal great grandparents, Santos and Leonor Cuellar and Sylvestre and Maria Castro. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 3:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Gonzales, Bryan Gonzales, Miguel Lopez Jr., Aaron Lorenzo Galvan, Humberto Aguilar Jr., Jack Parker III, Joaquin Ibarra, Rankin Falcon, Colton Moore and Cavender Neutze. Honorary pallbearers will be the Uvalde High School Golf Team and the Uvalde Explosion Softball 18 under.
