Manuel Miguel, Jr.

Mr. Manuel C. San Miguel Jr. of Uvalde passed away on February 6, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born on March 5, 1931 in Camp Wood to Manuel and Dolores (Carbajal) San Miguel. He married Juanita Barrientos in Uvalde. He is survived by five daughters, Maria Isabel San Miguel of Edna, Joan San Miguel Falcon and Enemencio of Sidney, Nebraska, Ernestina Morales and Nick of Uvalde and Elena Lara and John of Uvalde; two sons, Luis San Miguel and Pam of Camp Wood and Andres San Miguel and Michelle of Converse; two sisters, Celia Cavazos of Uvalde and Roberta "Ruby" Serrano of Camp Wood; two brothers, Castulo San Miguel of Camp Wood and Johnny San Miguel of Beeville; sixteen grandchildren, Kevin Brandon Falcon, Stephanie Jane Ortiz, Jolyanna Andrea Barnett, Kenneth Michael Falcon, Miranda Rae Mathine, Enemencio Falcon III, Adriana Delaney Falcon, David Falcon Jr., Andy San Miguel Jr., Aaron San Miguel, Gabriella San Miguel, Isabella San Miguel, John Lara III, Jelena Lara, Jordan Lara and Jase Lara; thirteen great grandchildren Shelby Falcon, Hannah, Joseph, Devin and Julianna Ortiz, Eloisa Sanchez, Ace Sanchez, Jenny Ortiz, Jesse James Barnett, Taylor Marie Falcon, Kellan Thomas Mathine, Hayden James Falcon and David Falcon III; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita San Miguel, parents, two sons Edward San Miguel and Baby San Miguel, granddaughter Faith Falcon, sister Mary Moreno and brother Paul San Miguel.
A rosary will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 and Wednesday, February 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Falcon Jr., Andres San Miguel Jr., Ace Sanchez, Jordon Lara, Tres Falcon, John Lara and Kenneth Falcon.
