Manuela Hernandez

Manuela L. Hernandez of Uvalde passed away on February 12, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 90. She was born on January 14, 1919 in Camp Wood, Texas to Emilio and Rosa Hernandez. She is survived by three sisters; Trinidad Dunn of Tracey, California; Margarita Olvera of Crystal City, Texas; and Guadalupe Perry of Eagle Pass, Texas; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; Mario Hernandez; two sisters; Belia DeAnda and Beatrice Gonzales; and three brothers; Rudolfo, Emilio Jr., and Juan Hernandez. A rosary will be held on Sunday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
