Manuela Muñoz

Manuela Munoz, 88, beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 30, 2020. She entered this world on August 19, 1931 in Uvalde, TX, born to Silvestre and Cesaria (Flores) Castro. She was blessed to have 6 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by her daughter Eulogia Rodriguez of Sabinal; sons Alberto Munoz and Mario Munoz both of Sabinal. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Guadalupe and her son Jose Angel Munoz. Manuela enjoyed her 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She always stated how much she loved all her nieces and nephews and how blessed she was to be part of their lives.

A graveside service will be held on April 2, 2020. at 10am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Viewing will be held on 1 April 2020 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal TX, from 9am-7pm.

Pallbearers will be Jace Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Louis A. Landeros, III, Michael Landeros, Eric Rodriguez and Mark Anthony Muñoz.

Because of the declaration of the state of emergency in Texas and the executive order issued by Gov. Greg Abbott, Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary will only allow 10 people at a time in their facility.  This can be done in rotating shifts to accommodate families. We thank you for your cooperation at this time of national disaster.
