Marcos Olvera

Marcos Jaime (aka Mark, Marky) Olvera of San Antonio went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 37. He was born on March 5, 1982 in Corpus Christi to Jose and Rosa (Gonzales) Olvera.

He is survived by his beloved parents of San Antonio; brother, Jose Ramon Olvera (Joe) and wife, Maricela of San Antonio, and nieces and nephews. He called them Alyssa (Fatso), Adalynn (Fatty Addy), Aidan (Nains) and Adrian (Ajin) all of San Antonio. Grandmother Natividad (Nate) Gonzales of Uvalde; uncles Ken Stark of Missouri, Armando Gonzales, wife Josephina of San Antonio, David Gonzales and wife, Patricia, Raymond Gonzales and Bobby Gonzales and wife, Maryann all of Uvalde; aunts, Rosa Segovia and husband, Juan of Corpus Christi, Mary Esther Garcia and husband, Mike, and Nancy Gonzales all of Uvalde, and numerous cousins and great cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ramon H. Gonzales, Jr.; paternal grandparents Jose and Margarita Olvera; uncles, Vicente (Tito) Olvera, Jody Gonzales and aunt Elsa O. Stark.

Visitation will begin on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home 520 N. General McMullen in San Antonio. A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. with a funeral mass to be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Maronite Church located at 6070 Babcock Road in San Antonio. Interment will follow at approximately at 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Javier Segovia, Javi Martinez, Rocky Bernal, Leo Olvera, Johnny Tambunga, David Guzman, Armando Gonzales, David Gonzales, Raymond Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales, Bobby (BJ) Gonzales Jr. Nicholas Gonzales, and Jose Gonzales.
