Margaret Ryland

Margaret P. Ryland of Uvalde passed away on November 9, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. She was born on May 15, 1919 in San Felipe, Texas to Charles and Georgia Phillips. She married Wilson Douglas Ryland in Pattison, Texas on June 25, 1939. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Wilson D. Ryland of Uvalde, Texas; two daughters; Sue Mc Fatter and husband, John Rae of Sandia, Texas; and Rita Vonluebbert and husband, Hal of Port Lavaca, Texas; one son; Douglas Ryland and wife, Linda of Wittman, Arizona; one sister-in-law; Ellen Phillips of Sealy, Texas; and care taker; Lorena De Luna of Uvalde, Texas; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 1:30 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Mc Fatter, Wesley Mc Fatter, Jeffery Mc Fatter, Wilson Ryland, Cody Smith, and Cody Ryland.
