Margaret Sparks

Margaret Sparks of Uvalde passed away on September 26, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 83.  She was born on August 9, 1936 in Marks, Mississippi to Willie Lee (Eraby) and Allen Vardaman.  She is survived by a son, Robert Lawrence Sparks and wife, Brenda of New Braunfels; brother, Phillip Flemmons and wife, Linda of Carrollton, Mississippi; sister, Patricia Magee and husband, Bill of Uvalde; and five grandchildren, Robert Sparks, Jr., Sam Sparks, Dawn Sparks, Chris Sparks, and Chad Sparks.  She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Herman A. Flemmons and Marvin H. Flemmons; and two sisters, Kathryn Anderson and Helen Coker.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 210 Jolley St., Uvalde.
