Margarita Rodriguez

Margarita Rodriguez of Batesville passed away on February 27, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born on February 22, 1938 in Batesville to Manuel Rodriguez and Tomasa Gudea Rodriguez. She is survived by two sisters, Carolina Nava and husband, Bobby; and Roberta Nava, all of Batesville; nephews, Bobby Nava, Jr. and wife, Vangie; Albert Nava and wife, Claudia; Edwin Nava and wife, Diana; and Eloy Nava, all of Batesville; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesus Zavala, Sr.; two infant sons, Jesus Zavala, Jr. and Juan Zavala; sister, Maria Rodriguez; and brother, Manuel Rodriguez. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial of ashes in Batesville Cemetery will follow. Pallbearers will be Bobby Nava, Jr.; Albert Nava; Edwin Nava; Michael Nava; Liza Perez; and Clarissa Nava Chavez.
