Margarita Ruiz

Margarita Ruiz of San Antonio passed away on June 9, 2009 in her residence at the age of 59. She was born August 11, 1949 in Grafton, North Dakota to Manuel and Margarita Ruiz. She is survived by her mother; Margarita Ruiz of Batesville, Texas; four daughters; Margarita Medrano, Marcelina Medrano, Maricela H. Castillo and husband, Joe Ray, and Diamantina Hernandez and husband, Robert Martinez all of San Antonio, Texas; two sons; Rogelio Medrano Jr. and wife, Melissa of Batesville, Texas, and Alonzo Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas; four sisters; Susan Vasquez of Batesville, Texas; Elena Ruiz and Enedina Cruz both of Uvalde, Texas; and Rosa Ruiz Kuntz of Manteca, California; three brothers; Manuel Ruiz Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; Carlos Ruiz of Batesville, Texas; and Ruben Ruiz of Abilene, Texas; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Manuel Ruiz and son, Rogelio Medrano. A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery.
