Margarita Silva

Margarita G. Silva of Uvalde passed away on February 19, 2009 at Uvalde Healthcare Rehab at the age of 100. She was born September 13, 1908 in Sabinal, Texas to Valente and Gregoria Gonzales. She is survived by two daughters; Celia Regalado and husband, Domingo of San Antonio, Texas; and Carmela Gonzales and husband, Eliseo of Uvalde, Texas; two sons; Sixto G. Silva Sr. and wife, Romelia and Rafael Silva Jr. all of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Daniel Gonzales of Uvalde, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Paula Gonzales and Anita Silva; two brothers; Adrian and Max Gonzales. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
