Maria Aguilera

Maria Olga Aguilera of Uvalde passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 87.

She was born in Uvalde to Mariana (Ruiz) and Jesus C. Aguilera, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Elia A. Garza of Uvalde; two brothers, Roy Aguilera and Rene Aguilera both of San Antonio; nephew, Pedro Aguilera Garza of Uvalde and niece, Belinda Aguilera Ybarra of Uvalde.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will begin on Monday, May 8 at 12 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pedro A. Garza, Justin Guerrero, Quentin Garza, Hector Cuellar, Eddie Rodriguez, and Rene Romero.
