Maria Rodriguez

Maria C. Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on February 20, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 68. She was born on August 8, 1939 in Progreso Coahuila, Mexico to Florencio and Maria Cerda. She married Raul C. Rodriguez in Progreso Coahuila, Mexico on September 21, 1968. She is survived by her husband of 39 years; one son; Jose Augustine Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Gregoria Cerda Rodriguez of Progreso Coahuila Mexico; two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and four sisters. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate.
