Maria Chapa

Maria E. Chapa of Uvalde passed away on May 2, 2008 at her residence at the age of 50. She was born on June 5, 1957 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Manuel and Josefa Ramos. She married Mario Rios in Uvalde, Texas on February 14, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 7 years Mario Rios of Uvalde; two sons; Pedro Chapa and wife, Amy of Austin, Texas; and Alberto Terazas of Uvalde, Texas; three sisters; Maria R. Sanchez of Uvalde, Texas; Carmela McCaslin and Rosa Schnarr both of Houston, Texas; three brothers; Juan Reynaldo Perez of Eagle Pass, Texas; Juan Antonio Perez of Idaho; and Manuel Ramos of Eagle Pass, Texas; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Paulita Perez. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary Inc.
