Maria Iniguez Cruz was reunited with her beloved husband, Emigdio Cruz Gutierez on March 21,2020. She was born September 11,1924 to Apolonia (Munoz) and Crescencio Iniguez. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Alicia Ortega of Chicago, Illinois; Eloisa C. Robertson of Uvalde; Hortencia C. Gill and husband Thomas J. Gill of Cypress, Texas. Sons Juan Cruz and wife Sue of Continental, Ohio. Chief USN (Ret) Ignacio I. Cruz of Pensacola NAS, Florida. Jose (Joe) Martin Cruz and companion Diane of Wauseon, Ohio. Emigdio I. Cruz and wife Enedina of Uvalde. Grandchildren Juan Cruz Jr., Adam Cruz, and Christina Cruz of Wauseon, Ohio. Ramon, Ruben, Ricardo, Alicia, Francisco, Griselda, Alejandro, Araceli, Eduardo, Erika, Salvador, and Jose Ortega of Chicago, Illinois.Lt. USN Americo Perez Jr. of Naval Base Kitsap, Washington. Samantha L. Gill of Cypress, Texas. Eric Alexander Cruz of San Antonio, Texas. Yvette (Perez) Gomez, Cody Wayne Cruz and Katrina Alexandria Cruz of Uvalde, Texas. Emily Rae Cruz of Ankeny, Iowa and Crystal Cruz of Austin, Texas. Sister Maria Jesus Barker and husband Bruce of Asherton, Texas. Numerous nephews and nieces and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son Enrique, three brothers (Gonzalo, Felix, and Jose) two sisters (Otila and Ginia) and sons-in-law Jim Robertson and Ruben Ortega. We shall keep you in our hearts forever.
A vigil will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
