Maria Garcia

Maria Cruz De Garcia of La Pryor passed away on March 17, 2008 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 60. She was born on November 1, 1947 in Guadalupe Victoria Mexico to Bonifacio Cruz and Herminia Corona Salinas. She married Miguel Garcia in Crystal City on March 27, 1972. She is survived by her husband of 35 years Miguel Garcia; seven daughters; Ofelia Macias and husband, Jesus Martinez of La Pryor; Maria Cecilia Rodriguez and husband, Martin of Laredo; Carmen Gaspar and husband, Luis of Pearsall; Josefina Ibarra and husband, Jose; of La Pryor; Margarita Garcia of La Pryor; Barbara San Juanero and husband, Ricardo; and Rocio San Juanero and husband, Manuel all of Minnesota; one son; Jesus Macias and wife, Juanita of La Pryor; four sisters; Veronica Cruz, Maria Cruz, and Marcelina Cruz all of Piedras Negras, Mexico; Herminia Aguirre of San Angelo; two brothers; Ernesto Cruz of Nava, Mexico; and Enrique Cruz of Piedras Negras, Mexico; numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Rosary will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel on March 19, 2008 at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 2:30 PM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Pryor , Texas with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesus Martinez, Jesus Macias, Luis Gasper, Jose Ibarra, Martin Rodriguez, and Jose Luis Ibarra Jr.
