Maria Esparza

Maria Esparza of Uvalde passed away on December 12, 2017 in Uvalde at the age of 68. She was born on March 31, 1949 in Uvalde to Felix and Juanita (Robles) Gomez.
She is survived by her daughters, Noelia Espartz and Norma Carranza and husband, Otilio all of Uvalde; son, Lee Esparza, Jr. of Uvalde; brother, Fred Gomez and Oscar Gomez both of Uvalde; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Librado "Lee" Esparza.
A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Anthony Gomez, Alberto Gomez, Joseph Rodriguez, Christopher Esparza, Lee Esparza, Jr. and Joe Esparza, Jr
