Maria Eugenia Salazar

Maria Eugenia Salazar, 52, of San Angelo, Texas, formerly of Uvalde, Texas passed away at her residence on April 23, 2025.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

She was born on January 22, 1973, in Uvalde, Texas to Maria Inez (Heredia) and Francisco Salazar.

She married Earl Lennon, on March 15, 1991, in Uvalde Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years of San Angelo; mother of Uvalde; two daughters, Zandra Lennon and Samantha Jo Lennon both of San Angelo; son, Stanley Lennon of San Angelo; sister, Rosita Salazar of Kyle; six brothers, Jesus Gonzalez, Jr. of Mission, Umberto Gonzalez of Houston, Alfredo Gonzalez of San Antonio, Javier Gonzalez of Uvalde, Ismael Gonzalez of San Antonio, and Oscar Gonzalez, of Uvalde; six grandchildren, Kazzandra Heredia, Bronson Haloo, Ximenna Haloo, Noah Mendoza, Isaiah Mendoza, and Mateo Mendoza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Pallbearers will be Earl Lennon, Stanley Lennon, Jesus Gonzalez, Jr., Umberto Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, Ismael Gonzalez, and Oscar Gonzalez.
