Maria Guerrero

Maria S. Guerrero of Uvalde passed away on December 19, 2014 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 74. She was born on May 17, 1940 in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico to Epifanio and Mercedes Beltran Saucedo. She married Manuel Diaz Guerrero in Mexico on August 23, 1962. She is survived by daughters Mayela Moreno and husband Martin of Rocksprings and Ycela Benavides and husband Jose Luis of Uvalde sons, Jerry Guerrero and wife Michelle of New Braunfels and Manuel Guerrero, Jr. of Uvalde sister, Victoria S. Retiz of Sabinas Coahulia, Mexico brother, Juan Saucedo of Uvalde grandchildren Lane, Logan, Bracken and Mason Guerrero, Jose Luis Benavides, Jr. and Karli Jo Benavides numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A rosary will be held on Saturday December 20, 2014 and Sunday December 21, 2014at 7:00 pm at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday December 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Benavides Jr., Lane Guerrero, Logan Guerrero, Joe Saucedo, Ruben Guerrero, Juan Guerrero, Juan M. Saucedo and Juan Jose Velez. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Guerrero and Josh Saucedo.
