Maria Gonzales

Maria H. Gonzales of Deridder, LA passed away on December 20, 2009 in Beauregard Memorial Hospital at the age of 93. She was born on June 15, 1916 in Allende Coahuila, Mexico to Jose Inez and Cleofas Hernandez. She is survived by two daughters; Alicia Garza of La Pryor, Texas ; Luz Ledesma of Deridder, LA; four sons; Joe Gonzales; Juan Gonzales; Ishmael Gonzales all of La Pryor, Texas; and Antonio Gonzales of Hobbs, New Mexico; thirty-two grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; eighteen great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Gonzales; three sons; Antonio Gonzales, Ramon Gonzales, and Arnoldo Gonzales; three daughters; Ramona Cordova, Gloria Perez, and Luz Elena Gonzales. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Pryor, Texas with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter Cordova, Joe Garza, Adrian Gonzales, Chris Gonzales, and John Ledesma.
