Maria Lamboy

Maria Varela Lamboy of Uvalde passed away at her residence on August 29, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born on April 10, 1922 in Knippa, Texas to Constancio and Dolores Torres Varela. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Zamora of Lewisville, Palmira Alcala of Austin, Christina Saiz of Uvalde and Norma Rodriguez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin sons, Oscar Lamboy and wife Carmen of Ft. Mead, Florida and Jesse Lamboy of Uvalde 21 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 21 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Brenda Lamboy. A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Knippa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rosendo Saiz Christina Hernandez Jesse Ortiz Chris Trevino Robert Trevino Johnny Trevino Joey Gonzales and Ron Flores.
