Maria Lopez

Maria Lopez of Andrews, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on November 30, 2017 at Midland Memorial Hospital at the age of 57. She was born on September 16, 1960 in Uvalde to Calletano Rios and Maria Eufemia Luna Rios. She married Oscar T. Lopez in Uvalde in 1981. He preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by her parents, Calletano and Maria Eufemia Rios; daughter, Cassandra Hernandez and husband, Hector; son, Oscar Lopez; sisters, Maria Bueno and husband, Mario; and Lisa Vasquez and husband, Lucio; brothers, Cayetano Rios and wife, Chriselda; and Reynaldo Rios and wife, Irma, all of Andrews, TX; four grandchildren, Kristine Hernandez; Jordan Hernandez; Aaliyah Hernandez; and Jakobii Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cayetano Rios, Reynaldo Rios, Jr., Norman Torres, Jesus Macias, Mario Bueno, and Rudy Kovac.
