Maria Ramos

Maria Elia Ramos of Batesville passed away on September 24, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born on December 8, 1947 in Batesville to Jose and Maria (Vasquez) Ramos.
Mrs. Ramos is survived by her daughters, Alveisa "Basy" and husband, Ismael Vasquez of Batesville, Cristella Ramos Najera of Batesville, Denise Santos and husband, Javier Vasquez of Batesville; sons, Juan Manuel Ramos and wife, Gaby Aguilar of Batesville, Patricio and wife, Lorena Ramos of Houston, Rogelio Jr. and wife, Diana Correa of Batesville; sisters, Luisa and husband, Roman Hernandez of Batesville, Diana and husband, Daniel Garza of Batesville, Rosa Anna and husband, Jose Luis Rios of Batesville, Estella and husband, Juan Garcia Sr. of Uvalde, Olivia and husband, Ramon Robles of Batesville, Asusena and husband Genaro Luna of Batesville, Leonor Ramos of Batesville, Dora Ramos of Batesville; brothers, Hector and wife, Josefina Ramos of Batesville, Jesus and wife, Alicia Ramos of Batesville, Ramiro and wife, Maria Ramos of Quitague; 20 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfredo Santos; sons, Dagoberto Correa, J.P. Santos and Baby Santos (twins); sister, Dora Elia Ramos; brothers, Jose Luis Ramos, Roberto Ramos and granddaughter, Roxanna Correa.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville. Interment to follow at Batesville cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ismael Vasquez Jr., Ivan Vasquez, Lawrence Ray Ramos, Maximus Ramos, P.J. Ramos, Hector Najera Jr., Levi Correa and Donavan Correa.
