Maria Smith

Maria Elvira Gonzales Smith of Wichita Falls, formerly of La Pryor passed away on October 22, 2012 at Texoma Christian Care Center in Wichita Falls. She was born on October 29, 1917 in La Pryor to Pedro and Elvira Martinez Gonzalez. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn K, Hungerford and husband Les of Wichita Falls sisters, Enriquetta Lopez of Lake Elsinor, California brothers, Dr. Salvador Gonzalez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ricardo Gonzalez of Southgate, California grandchildren, Michael Hungerford and Charlotte Fincher greatgrandchildren, Kevin Fincher Jr., Troy Hungerford, Tamara Hungerford, Taylor Hungerford, Cienna Hungerford and Anya King and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Elton Troy Smith brothers, Severo Gonzalez, Alejandro Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Pedro Gonzalez and Teodoro Gonzalez sisters, Pasquala Aviles, Otila Valdez, Petra Garcia and Alma Vara. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
