Marie Stockwell

Marie Stockwell of Uvalde passed away on May 26, 2014 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 81. She was born on August 31, 1932 in Winterhaven, TX to Ernest and Velma Montgomery Mortensen. She is survived by three daughters, Jumanna Stark and husband, James and Randa Jazairi, both of New Hampshire and Badria Walker of N. Carolina two brothers, James Mortensen of Uvalde and John Alan Mortensen of Florida and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the El Progreso Memorial Library, 301 W. Main St., Uvalde, TX 78801
