Marina Cruz Luevano of La Pryor, Tx. passed away September 2, 2007 in University Hospital in San Antonio, Tx. at the age of 14.

She was born October 31, 1992 in Uvalde, Tx.

She is survived by her father, Marco Antonio Luevano wife, Marta of La Pryor, Tx.; mother, Azalea Castillo of Uvalde, Tx.; paternal grandparents, Cruz Alfonso R. Luevano, Sr. of La Pryor, Tx.; maternal grandparents, Maria Benito Castillo, Jr. of Uvalde, Tx.; maternal great-grandmother, Maria Castillo of Uvalde, Tx.; sister, April Sanders of Uvalde, Tx.; brothers, Marco Antonio Luevano, Jr. Osbaldo Garcia, both of La Pryor, Tx.; Juan Antonio Villarreal of Austin, Tx. Rafael Gutierrez of Uvalde, Tx.; uncles, Gabriel Castillo of Uvalde, Tx.; Jose Luevano of La Pryor, Tx.; Orlando Luevano children, Karissa Luevano Bria Luevano, all of La Pryor, Tx.; Dr. Alfonso Luevano, Jr. wife, Beatrice children, Alfonso Luevano, III; Andres Luevano; Amber Luevano; Belicia Luevano, all of La Pryor; aunt, Lourdes Pena of La Pryor, Tx. numerous nieces nephews.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday Wednesday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 1:30 pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor, Tx. Interment will follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Fr. Anthony Mendoza will be officiating.
