Mario Mayo Bustamante of Uvalde passed away on December 12, 2014 at his residence at the age of 66. He was born on July 6, 1948 in Uvalde to Domingo and Ramona Robles Bustamante. He served in the U.S. Army from April 1968 thru May 1970 in Ft. Bragg, South Carolina. He was an Airborne Ranger and Training Instructor with special forces. He married Mary Elsie Padilla on November 24, 1976 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Bustamante of Uvalde three daughters, Emily Ann Bustamante Mariah Jo Bustamante and companion Jose Lopez both of Uvalde Laura Larralde and husband Rolando of Plainview son, Jacob Daniel Bustamante of Uvalde six sisters, Margarita Cedillo and husband Henry of Knippa Linda Castillo and husband Roy of Uvalde Dora Borrego and companion Samuel Cedillo of Knippa Elena Luna and husband Julio of Uvalde Sylvia Torres and husband Norman of Batesville Anna Castillo and husband Juan of Uvalde five brothers, Domingo Bustamante of Ohio Ricardo Bustamante and wife Belia of Batesville Oscar Bustamante and wife Cecilia of Uvalde Neto Bustamante and wife Rosemary of Uvalde Raul Bustamante and wife Geneva of Uvalde nine grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ermilio Bustamante. A rosary will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rolando Larralde Jr., Raul Larralde, Ryan Larralde, Jacob Bustamante, Sergio Porras and Cipriano Galindo. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Perez Jr., Nehemiah Larralde, Jonah Dre Bustamante and Trevyon Bustamante.
