Mario Navarro

Mario P. Navarro of Uvalde passed away on December 15, 2018 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. He was born on March 11, 1934 in Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to Amador and Angelita (Perez) Navarro.
He married Maria Inez Lopez on November 17, 1963 in Minas De Barroteran, Coahuila, Mexico, He is survived by his wife of 55 years of Uvalde; daughters, Sandra Navarro and companion, Adrian Garcia of Uvalde, Faviola Navarro of San Antonio and Pilar Navarro of Uvalde; two sons, Juan Mario Navarro and wife, Aydee of Uvalde and Raul Navarro of San Antonio; one brother, Jose Angel Navarro of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.
A rosary will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Rushing - Estes- Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
