Mario M. Rodriguez

Mario Musquiz Rodriguez, 60, of Sabinal, passed away on September 5, 2023, at his residence. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St Patrick’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. 

He was born on May 9, 1963, in Uvalde to Monica (Musquiz) and Juan F. Rodriguez. 

He is survived by his daughter, Hanna Rodriguez of Sabinal; son, Joshua Rodriguez of Sabinal; three sisters, Rosario Hernandez, Delia Flores, and Janie Contreras all of Sabinal; mother of his children and live long friend, Rosana Chavez of Sabinal; five brothers, Ruben Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez all of Sabinal, and Raymond Rodriguez of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Juan Rodriguez, Jr., and Jose Rodriguez. 

Pallbearers will be Joshua Rodriguez, Enrique Rodriguez, Fernando Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez, and Ruben Rodriguez, Jr.
