Mario Silguero of Uvalde passed away on January, 23, 2015 in San Antonio at the age of 52. He was born on April 7, 1962 in San Antonio to Reynaldo and Ausencia (Zapata) Silguero. He married Rebecca Soto on March 22, 1983 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Rebecca Soto Silguero; daughters Tiffani Wyner and Selina Nicole Silguero both of Uvalde; two sons, Mario Silguero Jr. and Jacob Silguero both of Uvalde; five sisters, Esmeralda Bravo, Zenaida Moreno, Anna Maria Portillo, Belinda Guzman and Isabel Silguero all of Uvalde; one brother, Reynaldo Silguero Jr. of Uvalde; eight grandchildren, David Wyner Jr., Ethan Jacob Silguero, Nazarea Faith Silguero, Khloe Rae Silguero, Jailah Nicole Silguero, Mario Silguero III, Nelaidah Nichelle Silguero and Gavin Xavier Silguero; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and paternal grandmother, Maria Silguero. A rosary will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm and Monday, January 26, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Roland Silguero, Antonio Portillo, Jaime Bravo, Julian Bravo, Jesus Moreno Jr., Rumaldo Mesa Jr., David Wyner and Peter Soto IV. Honorary pallbearers are David Wyner Jr. and Ethan Jacob Silguero. Burial of ashes will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
