Marisa Gorea

Marisa H. Gorea of San Antonio passed away on October 2, 2013 at University Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 42. She was born on June 8, 1971 in San Antonio to Jose R. Herrera and Mary Helen Valle. She is survived by her mother, Mary Helen Cordova of Eagle Pass daughter, Gina Herrera of Plano and Jennifer Gorea of Floresville sons, Jacob Gorea and Joseph Gorea both of Floresville and sister, Monica Rivera and husband Jose of Plano. She was preceded in death by her father. A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Uvalde Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Rivera, Jose Carlos Rivera, Alex Rivera, Sonny Cordova, Jacob Gorea, Joseph Gorea, and Mateo Lopez. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Gorea Education Fund, 6401 Riverside Dr., Plano, Texas 75024.
