Marjorie Herndon

Marjorie B. Herndon of Uvalde passed away at her residence on May 2, 2012 at the age of 84. She was born on March 6, 1928 in Fairfield, Texas to James Millen and Artie Ola Teer Bonner. She married George W. Herndon in Uvalde on March 29, 1947. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, daughters, Linda Sue Lively of Uvalde, Sandra K. Herndon of Austin, Deborah Wallace and husband John Ray of Lampasas sons, George Richard Herndon and wife Tara of Knippa, Winston Herndon and wife Debbie of Poteet brothers, Donald Bonner and wife Pat of Fairfield, Charles Bonner and wife Ann of Teague, 12 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sherri Jo Herndon. Graveside services will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff Sargeant Larry Edward May, George Ray Herndon, G.W. Herndon, Scott Elrod, Marquic Elrod, Dawson Thornton, Connor Thornton, Trendon Kocurek and Tate Kocurek
