Marlene Pollock

Lois Marlene Pollock of San Antonio passed away on March 19, 2016 in San Antonio at the age of 81. She was born on September 20, 1934 in Grand Fork, ND to Vernon Storey and Mildred Welch Storey. She was raised in Mikwaukee, Wisconsin. She married James Pollock in Milwaukee on September 8, 1956. She is survived by her husband of 59 years; daughters, Lory Zimmerman and husband, Darrell of Uvalde, and Cynthia Harris of Union Grove, WI; sister, Sandy Cortese and husband, Jack of Niles, MI; brother, Robert Storey and wife, Dorothy of Neenah, WI; three grandchildren, Jennifer Gonnering and husband, Mark; Matthew Harris and wife, Angie; and Storey Zimmerman; five great-grandchildren, Lacey Harris, Hayden Harris, and Cade, Conner, and Carter Gonnering. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Friedrich. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. Rev. Mike Marsh will officiate. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal School, 343 N. Getty St., Uvalde, TX 78801.
