Martha Beavers

Martha Marie Beavers of Uvalde passed away on February 1, 2013 at her residence at the age of 96. She was born in the Leona Ditch Community in Uvalde County on March 30, 1916 to W.M. and Josie Mayberry Beavers. She is survived by a sister, Geneva Sue Beavers of Uvalde and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters and one brother. Martha was the second oldest member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Uvalde. The oldest living member is her sister, Geneva. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Uvalde Cemetery.
