Martha Cruz

Martha Cruz of La Pryor passed away on December 13, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 69. She was born on January 23, 1939 in La Pryor, Texas to Domingo and Alice Perez. She married Mr. Roberto Cruz on December 27, 1958 in La Pryor, Texas. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, Roberto Cruz of La Pryor, Texas; two daughters, Martha Ruiz of San Antonio, Texas; Loli Mata of San Antonio, Texas; son, Bobby Cruz of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Pedro Perez of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in La Pryor, Texas with burial to follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Father Anthony Mendoza will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mundo Salazar, Gary Perez, Ruben Mata, John Otergon, Carlos Ortegon, and Jose Luis Jimenez.
